Victorian Valentine's Day Card with Two Girls, a Boy & Floral Heart

That forest green background everyone overlooks at first glance is actually the setting for what appears to be three children — two girls in elaborate bonnets and poofy period dresses and one dark-haired boy — who have apparently formed a labor union to haul an enormous gold heart reading 'To my Valentine' across a floral wreath the size of a small swimming pool. The center girl in blue, clearly the foreman of this operation, stares at the viewer with the mild indifference of someone who has been conscripted into Valentine's Day against her will, while the blonde girl on the left appears to be actively fleeing the scene, ribbons trailing behind her. Festooning the whole disaster is a garland of holly and pink flowers draped across the top like someone's grandmother's dining room, framed by a gold border dotted with red polka dots — because apparently the best way to express romantic love is to conscript three exhausted children into manual labor.
