Vintage Easter Greeting Card Anthropomorphic Rabbit Victorian

A wooden staff strapped to a rabbit's back like it's heading to Easter Vigil via a Renaissance fair — this is perhaps the Easter Bunny's least employable cousin: a bipedal rabbit in a pink coat and purple skirt, accessorized with dark glitter trim and what appears to be a wooden staff. The creature faces away in profile, radiating the energy of someone who absolutely did not want to come to your Easter dinner but was guilted into it anyway. The embossed Victorian card border and gold-lettered 'Easter Greetings' script work heroically to class up what is, at its core, a glitter-encrusted rabbit dressed like a medieval pilgrim carrying a large stick — and somehow this was considered the appropriate way to tell someone you were thinking of them during the holiest holiday in Christendom.
