Vintage Halloween Greeting Card: Jack O'Lantern with Dog & Owls

The owls are comically oversized relative to the jack-o'lantern they're perched on and dive-bombing from — one sits sentinel on the pumpkin like a tiny feathered HR manager while the other is apparently running point on some kind of interspecies terror operation targeting a fleeing spotted dog in what can only be described as a coordinated strike. The jack-o'lantern itself sports a thoroughly mediocre carved expression, not demonic, just kind of sad and slack-jawed. A witch's hat lies abandoned in the grass, presumably belonging to whoever already got got. The card's text — 'You better run home or the owls and goblins will get you-hoo' — is both a threat and a pun, which is frankly the most unhinged energy you can bring to a children's greeting card.
