Vintage Halloween Invitation Card with Jack-o'-Lantern Child and Broomstick

A pumpkin-headed creature with a gaping Pac-Man mouth, one enormous bulging eye, and a jaunty little top hat perched on its green-stemmed crown dominates this card, presenting what can only be described as a hostile takeover of a small child in a red polka-dot dress who is already holding a broom — because apparently she was already mid-witch-activity when the vegetable situation occurred. The crescent moon and gold stars look on with the detached serenity of witnesses who have decided this is not their problem, while a small black cat near the child's feet represents the only participant with enough self-awareness to appear alarmed. 'You Are Invited' it says, as if the invitation is coming from inside the pumpkin.
