Vintage July 4th 1776 Greeting Card Patriotic Eagle

The golden eagle descends in an aggressive dive while the cannon sits in the foreground with the quiet menace of a guy at a party who keeps bringing up the Second Amendment—together they're joined by a Statue of Liberty looming in the misty background, either blessing the whole chaotic tableau or desperately trying to escape it. Somebody in the early 20th century looked at all this and thought 'yes, this is the correct amount of America,' then decided that giant stars-and-stripes letters spelling out 'JULY 4TH 1776' were insufficiently unhinged and had them literally sewn from the flag instead. It's the visual equivalent of someone responding to 'happy birthday' with a 45-minute PowerPoint about the Revolutionary War.
