Victorian Christmas Greetings Card with Santa and Mistletoe

The first thing that strikes a modern viewer is how utterly untethered Santa appears to be—standing in a glowing blue void like he's been teleported into a festive interdimensional portal, clutching a sack of gifts and raising one arm skyward with the unhinged energy of a man who has been awake for 72 hours.
