Victorian Angel Christmas Greeting Card with Reindeer & Children

The angel's serene gaze directed at what is presumably a child inside the window would be considerably less unsettling if she weren't also traveling with a bag of unknown contents and a pack animal full of toys at what appears to be an eerily golden twilight hour. Heaven's logistics department has apparently outsourced to wildlife—this halo-sporting figure in flowing white uses one hand to grip the window frame and the other to clutch what looks like a small sack, while the deer does all the actual labor hauling a wicker basket containing toy figures including what appear to be two dolls. Corporate has really let the staffing standards slip since the whole 'herald the Lord' era.
