Vintage Krampus Christmas Card - Devil & Child on Rocking Horse

With his foot-long curling tongue and intense expression, Krampus stares ahead while riding a rocking horse with a blond child, brandishing a bundle of switches and dangling chains—because if you wanted to convey 'Happy Holidays', obviously a horned, black-furred demon in this pose is the move. The basket of fruit strapped to his back is a particularly unhinged touch, as though he's planning a nice charcuterie stop between abductions. This card was apparently someone's sincere attempt at seasonal warmth, and we have chosen, as a civilization, to mostly forget that.
